O'LEARY Family History
O'Leary is a common Irish name, an anglicized version of the original spelling 'O Laoghaire' or 'O Laoire.' Early records of the name L?egaire mac N?ill are from Tara where High-King Laoghaire, a member of the U? N?ill clan, became the first Christian king of Ireland in 432 AD.Select Audience

My Gt. grandfather Edward Francis O'Leary was baptised 11 July 1852 , I have found a reference to St. Marys Cork & Ross. His father was definitely Timothy Henry (0') LEARY and his mother Julia MURPHY from Boherbue/Boherboy area of Cork
My investigations show Edward's siblings ( Leary or O'Leary) are as follows with baptismal date,
Margaret 25,8.1856 Boherbue, Angela21.8.1859 Boherbue, Hannah 11.3.185, James 24.7.1849 &
Mary 3.12.1853 Edward joined the army and in England married Eva Horne having two children one being my mother Molly Francis O'LEARY( Rollinson) b.1912 - d. 2007 Edward died Colchester 1886. My hope with the numerous names provide this may produce further information regarding my Irish family I Certainly hope so. Thank you
